The Jaguar F-Type has made a helluva stir since its launch. It revives life as a halo car into a brand that MattDarringer would be happy to point out is struggling with sales when compared to the numbers it was putting out a decade ago.
And now the leaping cat has made things MUCH more interesting.
That's because last week it announced the all-new limited edition Project 7 car. Originally this was thought to be a one-off vehicle, but it turns out that the company decided to launch a special operations division that's in the business of producing high-performance vehicles and one-offs for those with deep pockets.
XCAR recently spent a bit of time at this past weekend's Goodwood Festival of Speed to learn more about the Project 7 and its inspiration, the D-Type.
Jaguar put out the Project 7 concept last year and now it's back as a limited edition variant of the enormously popular F-Type. We take a look at how this car celebrates the D-Type and uses it as inspiration.
