Honda officially releases the 2007 Honda CR-V
With 166 horsepower and 161 lb/ft of torque - Honda officailly announces the 2007 CR-V!

I have to say that the design has grown on me alot though! It's more mature and toned down... the last generation was to Bangle-y for me!

I think this will be a number one seller for Honda. What do you think?

I have to say that the C pillar design has really grwon on me and. It wouldnt look nice with rectangular windows because of the rounder shape of the tail-lights.

i quite like the look, it looks chunky, but also car-like.

Utah, you talk like Honda is for people who consider themselves a niche. "We're the family buyer!" (Actually, we're people. And with no kids.)

You can make excuses for Honda here, or just be honest. Honda botched this.

Edmunds calls it the She-RV. It's as expensive as a RAV-4 but shorter, slower (with no corresponding gain in gas mileage) and half as functional. The look is soft (to get mothers -- Honda says it's aimed at 30-something mothers). The only thing they've done right is put a navigation system in, but you pay $2,000 for it.

You would get mothers anyway with a stronger design. They drive Jeeps. They drive BMW's. We're not target audiences. We're people. And this car feels fresh from a conference room. We have an '07 Accord and love it, but I think Honda blinked with this one.

This car is going to flop. By Honda standards, anyway. You watch.

efox, this new version is much more feminine-looking. Or didn't you notice?

The CR-V has stood still; the RAV-4 has gotten much better.

Will men be seen driving this car? Not this one.

Guess we'll see how big the single-mother market is.
