Could Everyone Else Be Missing The Boat? The Lexus NX Trump Card Is The 35 City MPG Hybrid

In the automotive world, customer’s tastes are fickle. What’s hot today will be shunned tomorrow. Currently, it’s the premium compact crossover that’s all the rage. Consumers are snatching these high-riding five-door hatchbacks up as if they are free iPads. Every luxury auto manufacturer wants a piece of the profitable pie and this year has already seen the introduction of the Lincoln MKC and the Mercedes-Benz GLA.

But one brand was oddly absent from this segment until now: Lexus. Finally arriving late to the party, it’s a bit of a head scratcher why Toyota’s premium brand waited so long to introduce the NX compact crossover since the company’s mid-size RX crossover absolutely dominates its segment

Ha ha ha. Front end looks like some kind of bottom-feeder from a koi pond. With a disturbing face like that, who cares if it gets 100 mpg or more???

It's ugly but this will sell like crazy. It seems here in the US people have a huge appetite for these small SUVs.

Knowing Lexus, they will price this too high.

Considering the looks, probable inflated MPG figures and better looking alternatives, this maybe a tough sell.

Dear mediocrities,
You do not have a clue what design and how good car should look like. Your imagination that this is small is just born from your insinuation as well as your ugly taste for US made cars!!!
When you will learn that all the US cars are ugly and nobody from Europe will never buy them. Instead, you are buying all the time Europe, Japan cars so whay the hell are you doing this if you do not like them????

i think judging on the above tests for the hybrid IS vs diesels o the Germans, I would guess, the figures for the NX would be quite close..
