Saw a blue RS4 yesterday, first time I saw one up close and the gentleman that owned it gladly gave me a tour of it. Then this guy comes up who said he is a Bimmer Fanatic and that he thought this Audi looked hot. It sounded great and even though the owner did not let me test drive it, he opened it up for us as he left the parking lot. All I have to say is this car looks and sounds AWESOME!

Another totally stupid "logical" comment with no relevance at all

I wonder how much better the RS4 is than the 335i. Probably not much faster.

The RS4 is more than half a second quicker @ 0-60 than the 335i, 6 tenths to be exact (this is comparing the best times for both cars) The RS4 is 8 tenths quicker in the quarter mile. Comparign the two cars is silly, even sillier than the current M3 versus the RS4

Sure its silly, but in terms of value I would not pay 2X more money for half a second in 0-60. Keep that 40G and buy a nice watch

vcowman: in's agrguable.
In terms of feeling and handling the RS4 would eat the 335i. people looking at the RS4 will not be looking at the 335i.
It's the same as if you were comparing the 335i to the M3.

Would it be fair to compare this to a 911 GT3? Turbo? For my preference, I would probabaly get a 335i over a new M3 for daily driver reasons.
