Rashid Al Shaali, the Emirati designer responsible for the all-new Dubai Roadster, a locally built rocket that should become the Emirates' pride and joy, says he's had many "inquiries from people saying they wanted to buy the car now." With an expected price tag of over $100,000 (400,000 Dh) and a presumed debut at the 2015 Dubai Motor Show, Al Shaali has been forced to tell potential buyers to "hold on" until the car's development is completed.

Wouldn't be the first time the Corvette has been "transformed" into a sports car by someone who knows better than Chevrolet.

Looks good like fun for those that can drop over 100k for a track day toy.
Matt - I've never been a Corvette guy but that is not a fair comparison. The corvette is a reasonably practical daily driver with a windshield. They are not low volume track day toys.
There are thousands of well sorted used race cars out there that are well sorted and would make great track day toys for a lot less money IMHO.
