2016 Volkswagen CC Rendered - Is It Good Enough For You To Crack Open The Wallet?

Wondering what the next generation (Passat) CC four-door cope will look like? Look no further than these new renderings, based on the brand new MQB-based sedan model that made its debut last week.

There's no question that the CC is a nice four-door coupe for a lot less money than the Mercedes-Benz CLS. However, it's beginning to look its age, despite Volkswagen's failed attempt at giving it a facelift.

With a blank sheet of paper and a new platform to work from, designers will have a much easier time blending the square VW design language and the flowing lines of a coupe. These renderings were created by RM.Design and we think most Vdub fans will be more than willing to leave a deposit on.

The only people who drive cars that color are old women who are in front of me on the highway going 43 miles per hour.

I like it from all angles except the front. That front still looks like an economy car, which seams to be out of line with the rest.

Completely agree. Rear and side look great, but the front needs a sportier design to pull it away from the standard designs. Still cannot get onboard with VWs front design. Odd when Audis front looks so good.

I'm sure that's probably accurate but it is utterly terrible. It looks like a nice $25K car not the $45K the Passat based/Jetta sized (interior) the CC will be. Please keep it in Europe.

Looks like the new Passat with a Coupe rear quarter.

Looks like the CC (granted, only a rendering) will fall victim to the same issue as the current CLS: larger greenhouse, taking away the "coupe-like" profile. and that rear end looks exactly like the A5.

Looks elegant, clearly European, expensive enough, and wow boring as shit. I prefer cars with personality that elicit some sort of emotional response. VWs look about as exciting as a washer & dryer.

Also the "four door coupe" shit needs to die. It's a sedan. Or I'm going to start calling the 4-series a two-door sedan.

I agree with Sciros. Looks like the design has been neutered.

either buy a sedan or buy a proper coupe. 4-door "coupes" are the compromised leisure suits of this decade
