SPIED: MORE Spy Photos Of The All-New Honda HR-V, Are YOU Digging Where THIS Is Going?
When we first saw the Honda HR-V in concept form, I have to say, we liked it! The only problem we saw was that it was badged a Honda instead of something more premium, like Acura. Considering how bland the "A" brand's lineup is, we just were looking for something with a touch of sex appeal.

Well, it turns out that isn't in the plan.

The good news is that this compact sport-utility vehicle WILL be priced as an affordable Honda. So, if you've like it, you can rest easy knowing you'll be able to snap one up without causing pain to your wallet.

Look for it to hit our shores this upcoming winter as a 2015 model year product. Considering it will price in UNDER the CR-V, which is priced at around $23-24,000, we're guesstimating it will cost approximately $16-18,000 to get one of these HR-V's in your driveway.

I kinda looked a little cooler with the tape on it. It's a neat car but nothing really that special about it.

The HR-V is pretty descent design as well. But it looks like it should be a smaller RDX variant within the Acura lineup. Hopefully, the front fascia will look more like the Accord sedan/coupe & NOT at all like the Crosstour.

It's interesting to me how people can dislike a comment but have nothing to add. I'm curious to know from those who disagree with what I said, have to say.

Please tell me What's so great about this car because I really don't see this as original or sending shockwave through the automotive industry. It is simply a kinda neat looking car.(I expect no responses and more dislikes but I'm curious and thought it'd be worth a shot)

I'll tell you where it's going...on the endless list of mind-numbingly boring designs from Honda. They will sell tens of thousands of them.

I absolutely agree and the money will be on the hood.

I think Honda has an unfocused overall design language. The top trim Honda Accord is a really good-looking car...but it's very much entry-level premium where the exterior could have easily been on an Acura. The RDX is really nice too, but it looks like it should have been a Honda. And when I see an Accord & an RLX side-to-side on the street, it's not really apparent that the RLX should be the luxury variant - even with the obvious chrome "A" fascia.

Maybe Honda should have made the Honda lineup a lil bland (a la VW) so that the Acura line can be perceived as more luxurious.

Park an RLX and the Accord next to each other and you'll see that the Camry is to the Accord as the Avalon is to the RLX (despite the $30K price bump of the latter)

The RLX literally is an Accord with a small increase in wheelbase, minor restyling of nose and tail, and a bunch of garbage bolted in.

So I'm sure this new Honda excretion will add another Japanese Mercury to Acura's line up.

I don't think the HR-V is going to be something that gets anyone's blood flowing. Not that that is a bad thing, but it is a little disappointing considering how appealing the concept was. Hopefully a bigger wheel and tire package will be available. P.S. the nose will follow the Fit's new design.
