BMW Prices i8 Hybrid At $135,700 - Will This Sell Better Than Cadillac's ELR?

BMW USA has announced the official price list for the i8 locally, where the hybrid sports car can be yours from $135,700.

Americans will soon be able to place an order for the BMW i8 as the model in question has just been priced in the country. According to the local division of the carmaker, the hybrid vehicle will start from 135,700 USD, which is the equivalent of 99,000 euros or 79,000 GBP, without the destination and handling charge, which will set you back for another 950 USD. Three packages will become available for the model, the Giga World, the Tera World and the Pure Impulse World.

The ELR isn't even worth a mention. It's just another bad idea from GM management -- the kind of bad ideas that put them into bankruptcy in the first place.
