VIDEO: So, The Guy That Had A Problematic Porsche 911 Snaps Up An All-New 2015 BMW M4 — FIRST Impressions + A SURPRISE
A name that will forever haunt Porsche Cars North America is Nick Murray. The owner of a 991 911 coupe, Murray detailed his problematic 911 until Porsche did something about it. Although Porsches are known for their stellar reliability, Nick's car was anything but that.

After gaining a helluva amount of attention Porsche finally did the right thing.

In other news, it turns out that Murray is also an M enthusiast. He just picked up a 2015 BMW M4 in Sakhir Orange and provides some first drive impressions below. Just one little thing. As he literally pulls out of the dealer lot an airbag failure light illuminates. If I were at BMW North America I'd be clenching right now, and I am NOT talking about my fists.

Interestingly enough though Murray posted a follow up video with an update about the car and seems rather careless about it although we all know of his famous 911 problems. Having been an E92 M3 owner, he says he's confident that his BMW will be a reliable product.

Stay tuned for any Nick Murray updates and check out both clips below!

Come and take a spin as I pick up my new M4 from the dealer today. BMW M4 F82 2015 model year. Color is Sakhir Orange Matallic.

Take spin in my 320xi loaner which is pretty much the most basic 3 series here in the US. Still quite and fun car over all.

First generation anything not Toyota/Honda is rarely promising.

"Although Porsches are known for their stellar reliability..."

Uh... what? Other than 00R, apparently, the only people to whom Porsche is "known for stellar reliability" is Porsche.

So very true. If you decide to own a Porsche be prepared to over-maintain it and it will be moderately reliable, but to what end? There are cars out there that give as much performance for equal or less money, that are more reliable by far, and are not styled to look like something out of 1963.

Porsche nuts are their own breed, they buy blindly, and tend to ignore all faults.

Matt, I agree.

There are many cars that can beat out Porsche 911 or an M4, such as WRX STI, Evo, GT-R, Supra, NSX, and all those cars have the best reliability ever as well.

But if you buy like American cars, like Mustang, Camaro, etc, be prepared to spend tons of money on fixing those garbage.

They were built to be garbage, and the money you spend on fixing those garbage will make you feel real bad.

JDMUSMuscle, I usually do not read your responses because they tend to be incredibly long, self-serving diatribes. I made the mistake of reading this one, and I highly recommend a remedial English class if you want us to understand what it is that you are trying to convey.
