BATTLE OF THE BEASTS: Audi RS6 Vs.Ducati 1199 Panigale R Video Shootout

Audi now owns Ducati - so we thought it'd be fun to have a track battle between the most powerful Audi you can order and the most powerful Ducati you can order.

The 1199 Panigale R has a 1.2-litre V-Twin with 195bhp. There is an even hotter Superlegera version but it’s sold out, so this R is the most powerful Ducati you can buy.

The Audi RS6 has a 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 with 560hp – that’s 10 horses more than an R8 V10 Plus, which is why we have chosen the estate for this track battle.

I almost hate to reply to such a dumb comparison, but they should have used the R8 V10 Plus. It has 10hp less, but it weighs considerably less than the RS6 and is quicker than the RS6. Not that it really matters because the result would be the same. The average V10 Plus turns 0-60 in around 3.3 sec with 1/4 mile at about 11.2 sec.
