Which Is Best Ride To Seen In When Shopping At Whole Foods?
Grocery shopping is something you can't get away from and even the celebrities do it when they have the time.  But if you are going to be seen in public you have to consider how the paparazzi are going to catch you in action when you pick up that big bag of bagel crisps and tub of hummus from Whole Foods.  It is all about public perception. we guess but what is classy?

So do you arrive with your kiddo in tow like Jessica Alba in a blacked out Audi A8L TDI or in a chauffer driven Cadillac Escalade like pop star Justin Bieber, or just a Lexus RX Hybrid like Hayden Panettiere?

You don't have to understand, just accept.

Why do celebrities always have to have the cars dealerships give them to drive "blacked out"? [To be clear: Justin Bieber is not a celebrity -- he's just an asshole.]

The whole "how to be seen" concept is the domain of people who are concerned about what others think of them. In other words, it's important to them that others think well of them.

I'm of the mind that by being true to myself, just being plain ol' me and not trying to impress or attract, I'll simultaneously repel those who aren't compatible with me, while attracting those who are. The compatible ones are the only ones who matter to me.

@thesteve - When you are a Celeb your image is livelihood.
@preview - I have owned two hybrids and found both never came close to delivering the claimed mileage nor ROI. So while they are novel they are not what they are cracked up to be under normal use. Now if I lived in stop and go traffic all of the time, I might be singing a different song. However my average speed (according to the trip computer) is 42 mph
so most of the time I am out of the hybrid's optimum range.

Perhaps if you're Britney Spears, but somehow I believe Jack Nicholson don't give a rip what others think of him or his ride. I guess it all depends who *YOU* feel is worth covering.

Definitely the new "it" car - the Long Wheelbase Range Rover. $150,000; about 8MPG (that's "eight" mpg); really not much more usable space inside than the original Range Rover - but the length and girth of the thing screams "I'm loaded and I don't care".

In NYC and the Hamptons, the Stretch Range Rover is really the balls right now. Black, with blacked out windows. Calling all trend-spotters - this is the one to watch.

I don't see cars...just people. Autospies gives way to much space to 'celebrities'...pop culture is for people who live life only on the surface.

Whole Foods is for vapid idiots who want to spend triple the price of a conventional markets so given that vapid idiots buy Teslas, I'm going to go with Tesla.

Tesla is of course the correct answer. Whole Foods is all about being environmentally conscious while forking over VAST SUMS OF MONEY so I think a Tesla fits that perfect.

Volt, ELR, Prius, etc. are also appropriate choices.

If you want to just fit the stereotype of young hippy outdoorsy eco shopper, the be like me and drive a Forester.

If you have to get your own food, then you've already lost!
(this is the natural extension/conclusion of your question)

In reality, any damn car you want is the best choice to be seen in at Whole Foods, because the car you ride in does not give an accurate measure of your wealth, status or environmental friendliness.

The most interesting cars in the Whole Foods lot today were a Macan and a Grand Cherokee SRT8, a Tesla was probably leaving the lot. Most interesting all time is definitely the 918 Spyder.
