Ford: 'We understand' our troubles
In the final weeks before chairman and CEO Bill Ford and his team roll out an improved plan for making money with Ford Motor Co.'s North American automotive operations, everyone needs to know that he understands the true nature of the company's troubles, Bill Ford told Newsweek magazine in an interview published over the weekend.

"It's important people understand that we get it," he said. "We understand we're in trouble in North America. We understand that it requires extraordinary action, and we are taking that."

Ford has made one cool car in my lifetime, the GT, but everything else is as boring as Toyota, but without the quality. I say let them die.
