Cadillac should return to NAMES. Let's hope the moron they "stole" from Infiniti will not do another asinine naming system at Cadillac. He failed at Infiniti BIG TIME with his stupid renaming scheme that ruined brand identity. Let's hope to high heaven that GM has him on a TIGHT leash.

I agree. I don't like the new names of Infiniti, either. I mean, why even change the names, WITHOUT changing models, you know?

Great, this is another worthless gimmick from Johan de Nysschen, who thinks the name of cars is what sales them.

He didn't nothing for Infiniti, I expect he do less for Cadillac.

The name of cars DOES sell them. If it is a name like "Mustang," "Vette," "Wrangler", even "Civic." Alphanumeric product codes like "CT6" don't sell shit. It's the brand rather than the model name at that point that does anything for the vehicle.

What the hell are they supposed to be? Is it like a new name for SRX?

If so, then no thanks. SRX is a miserable failure (I had one and it was a total junk), the current model looks like a pig with makeup.

And I have no clue why they did not change the design of SRX even to this very day. That thing just looks so ridiculous.

Most of the time brands trademark as many potential names as they can just in case.
