Chrysler Sees the Writing On The Wall And Creates Safety And Compliance Office

Chrysler Group LLC said Monday it is reorganizing its vehicle safety efforts into a new unit with a new senior vice president who will lead the effort and report directly to CEO Sergio Marchionne.

Chrysler — which has faced several ongoing battles with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration — said it is establishing a new office of Vehicle Safety and Regulatory Compliance, led by Senior Vice President Scott Kunselman — one of a number of leadership changes announced Monday.
