GT-R Killer In The Works? Ferrari Shuts Down Nurburgring To Test F12 Berlinetta

While the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta may have been released a couple of years ago, Ferrari engineers are said to have recently tackled the Nurburgring in the high-performance GT car.

According to TouriClips, the following F12 Berlinetta prototype had the famous German racetrack to itself for half an hour and in that time, put in one seriously quick lap. It is suggested that an initial lap was used to warm up the car before the flat-out lap got underway which was then followed by a cooldown lap.

The clumsy side body sculpting is not particular attractive on this car.
Looks like it was added with no idea or theme to work with the car design.

A GTR killer from Ferrari is a non sequitur. The video game, JDM import tuner boy wet dream is an unsatisfying car to drive. You can feel its software thinking for you and robbing you of the joy of driving at the edge.

Ferrari does not give a rat's ass about the dismal selling GTR. Ditto: Lamborghini, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, TVR, Corvette, Mustang, Camaro...i.e. any performance car/brand. Factor in the styled-by-Renault lines and the GTR is pretty vile.
