SPIED: The Ford Explorer Seen Undergoing Wraps In Dearborn — What Would YOU Want The Blue Oval To Change?
It's about that time when the Ford Explorer undergoes a bit of a facelift. Though it only seems like yesterday that the all-new Explorer launched with its somewhat Land Rover Range Rover appeal, the time has come.

We know this because a reader-submitted spy photograph was sent to us just this week showing what appears to be an Explorer prototype that's heavily camouflaged. In fact, the camouflage is so severe I am actually wondering if this is simply a facelift or something much more going on here.

Could it be a hybrid? Could it be an SVT-inspired model? Do EITHER of these ring a bell to you?

From what I can see though I would wager it's just a simple refresh that's buttoned up extra tight as it works its way around Dearborn, near the company's headquarters.

The UGLY face needs to go and I'd make the tail lights horizontal units and span the tale. The Exploder looks too fat assed from behind and up front vies with Aztek, Juke, and ZDX for the ugliest face on a crossover.

Change the italicized 'Explorer' on the back.
