The next generation Clubman and Countryman are due in 2015 and 2017 respectively, will represent major milestones for the brand. Designed to right the wrongs of previous larger MINIs, they will address concerns ranging from design to performance. There is plenty of room in the engine department now. Before it took some effort to squeeze the power from the supercharged 4 cylinder and later the turbo but the Cooper S is now running a low key version. Even the eventual Cooper Works version will just call it a day with the standard 328i output. I am assuming the engine are more or less the same just adapted to be placed differently.

I am so stoked to see these new offerings from MINI. The updated Clubman with the option for 3 seats in back and awd as well as the diesel option will be amazing! The 2nd generation Countryman and Paceman versions will be killers in the market as well!

I've always like the look of the Mini Coopers, but I've always felt their performance version are under-powered. If they do a 300hp version, I'd be interested again.

Cars with Black A pillars: Nissan Cube, Ford Flex, 2013 Ford Explorer, 2014 Saab sedan, Scion XB, Infinti QX but only the Kia Soul's A pillars would be the copycat since it's Korean.
