LEAKED! Window Stickers Reveal 2015 Mustang To Be Thirstier Than Outgoing Model

Adding independent rear suspension, numerous electronic safety features and other items raised the weight and lowered the fuel economy of several models of the rebuilt 2015 Ford Mustang, according to window stickers leaked on the Internet today.

Ford officials would not confirm the authenticity of the EPA numbers, which can be seen here: http://www.mustang6g.com/.

“We have not discussed fuel economy at all, and we’d like to wait until the EPA officially releases the Mustang’s fuel economy ratings,” said Ford spokesman Brian Cotter. He added that he could not confirm the EPA numbers on the window labels.

Those look a bit more realistic, the previous ratings seemed a little optimistic. Could be a case of falling into the next weight bin, or perhaps the EPA actually tested the Mustang this time around.
