The Audi A3 Sedan is an absolute home run for Audi. Look for the A3's sales numbers to rise even more for August with the newly-launched A3 TDI clean diesel, A3 Cabriolet and high-performance S3 Sedan all on sale during the month.

Yep, but even more impressive is the CLA which has less practicality and interior room than the A3 as well as less than flattering reviews, yet despite it all, managed to maintain a wait list and pick up the sales crown last month

That CLA has Benz dealers stockpiling camrys, accords, and altimas while the S Class has given Benz dealers an influx of preowned A8's, 7's, and LS's

Just the fact that the Volvo tops this list says how nonsensical it is. You'd almost have to be stupid not to guess that a Cadillac, Audi, Acura, and Infiniti would be on the list as they have direct non-premium nameplate relationships. I think it's more surprising that the Lexus ES and RX weren't even in the top 10 considering Camry and Highlander owners would seem to graduate accordingly. The remaining top 10 are: 6.) Acura RDX, 7.) BMW 128/228, 8.) Lexus CT200h, 9.) Land Rover LR2, 10.) Mercedes CLA.
