CAR WARS! Entry-Level Luxury SHOWDOWN: WHO Takes The CROWN Amongst The Germans? Audi A4? BMW 3-Series? Mercedes C-Class?
Easily one of the hardest head-to-head battles to figure out — for buyers and reviewers alike — is the entry-level luxury class. To be a bit more specific, we're talking about the sedans from Germany.

Between the likes of the Audi A4, BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, you're looking at three products that are all critical to their company's bottom line and are typically the way each brand seduces loyal buyers into the brand. Simply put, they're all great vehicles to put in your driveway, but WHICH is best?

Though the A4 is showing its age these days, many are still attracted to the four rings and the company's subtle styling. The BMW 3-Series has long been the driver's choice with plenty of accolades backing this up. And, the all-new Mercedes-Benz C-Class is seemingly class leading; however, you usually have to pay for that and it's not the most engaging for drivers wanting a bit of spunk.

So, what will it be? Find out in the clip below...

In other words, nothing has changed. The 3 Series will win all comparisons and will continue to be the benchmark in this segment because everyone needs the best handling sport sedan to go to work;)

As long as Benz remains competitive at entry level and continues to dominate high end, that's all that matters As a luxury marque.

A luxury brand is only as good as their most luxurious model, similar to high end hotels, while yes they offer standard rooms, their names are built off their suites/penthouses

The CLA/C Class will continue to pay the bills, while the S Class and "dream models" will continue to polish the Mercedes Benz Brand

Yup, not really sure this should be a surprise to anyone. Mercedes focus is on luxury, though it baffles me why he would say that the air suspension isn't worth the price since it allows driver variability between comfort and sport modes. And the sport mode is noted as handling better.

This is one segment where nothing changes.

BMW 3 has,is and will always be # 1 seller
MB C-class as always 2-nd

everything else????? Well, who gives a shit who will end up in 3-rd or 4-th or 5-th place, most people go for the those 2 models who have long proved to be the best choices

Lets face the facts.............

Audi design never changes, it's always the same shit

Benz has been getting weird with designs lately, but they have the balls to try different things

BMW's designs is better than ever, No Chris Bangle = bright future

Lexus design is as fucked up as the sales results of their LS, GS, LX, GX and soon to follow IS. Is started good but 4000 units a month is not a good number for an entry level volume model, when Benz was selling way more than that at its last few months of C-class and BMW's 3 always pops 10000 units out month in month out

The 3 Series is still the best driver of the trio and it's the best looking. The Benz is once again an old-man's car given it's aping of the S Class' styling. The Audi front wheel drive architecture with AWD bolted in to make it sort of handle nearly almost as well as the BMW just does not feel right in the end.

Get back to me after the Cadillac ATSV launches.
