That ES and RX are bullet proof, and the IS is creeping up there as well, looks like Lexus has found their stride again amongst soccer moms, senior citizens, and Toyota drivers "upgrading" to a Lexus

Yep and CAMRYS outsold the LEXUS brand in Europe for the entire year.

Well, this was Lexus' typical summer surge. Their offers on thier cars for the past few months were beyond ridiculous. But, those offers appear to be over so we'll see where their sales go.

And with the new C and GLA coming out now, Mercedes certainly has the advantage through the rest of the year.

Not so sure, we currently have IS leases for $299 a month, ES and RX for $349 down here in Florida. Those are great deals which will keep people coming in the dealerships.

Yes, USNA1999, you are correct, the incentives are out there until 9/30/14, and they are seriously ridiculously low. Why would I lease a 535i for $649/month when I can lease a GS350 for $409/month? Or a 328i for $409/month when i can lease an IS250 for $299/month.

But, not sure Lexus will end the year at the top, but we shall see. Lexus was #1 3 months of the 8 months this year and two of those months, was just barely ahead of Mercedes. This is the first month they had a very substantial gap. Mercedes has two major volume drivers coming out this month (C-Class and GLA).

It seems to me that LEXUS will grab the sales crown here in the US by the end of the year. I believe this is the third consecutive month they have outsold MB and BMW.
