Three Executives In Seven Months - Are Nissan and Infiniti Heading For A Disaster?
We had our hopes up for some time regarding the future of Infiniti; and Nissan for that matter. Not so long ago it recruited former Audi of America executive Johan de Nysschen to run and revitalize Infiniti. He’s the guy behind the GT-R-powered Q50 Eau Rouge. His Infiniti turnaround plan seemed to be going quite well. Then in July, de Nysschen announced his resignation to become President of Cadillac. Industry watchers were surprised, to say the least. And just this past week, another high-profile Nissan executive has jumped ship.

Well, it could also mean a good sign. They might actually get a real good executive finally, and make Nissan/Infiniti great again.

Nissan has been in the doldrums since Renault bailed them out of a financial implosion.

Infiniti is most decidedly not taken seriously against Lexus or Cadillac much less BMW or Mercedes.

Toyota has Nissan beaten for product as does Ford.

sometimes i feel autospies bloggers are more qualified than the clowns at these companies... the crap they approve and put out there. do they really look at some of their offerings and think " this is a hit"

With the shit products Nissan has been putting out, these 3 "executives" should have been kicked out a long time ago. The bigger problem: Why is Carlos Ghosn still there?

Palmer had been there 23 years... and allowed the brand to go completely stale before De Nysschen ever got there. All his recent interviews and crowing were about the work De Nysschen had put into place before he existed. Good riddance.
