Rumor Mill: C8 Corvette To Be Named "Zora" In Honor Of Creator?

With the Corvette Stingray presented in 2013 and sold from the 2014 model year, a replacement already coming in 2016 as a 2017 model year seems a little long in the tooth. But, as we shouldn’t dismiss the rumors altogether, here’s Car and Driver’s report about the upcoming next generation.

The report about the C8 iteration of the acclaimed sports car should be taken with a healthy dose of skepticism – or with a pinch of salt, whatever way you prefer is good. That’s because besides the early date of retirement for the gorgeous looking C7 Stingray, Car and Driver also hints that the future Corvette – to be named Zora – would be utterly revolutionary.
