VIDEO: THIS Is What Happens When Lincoln And Matthew McConaughey TEAM Up — Does This Change How YOU Feel About The Lincoln MKC?
As we've been reporting for quite some time, we're a bit disappointed to see what Ford has let happen to Lincoln. The company's products are not what they once were.

The good news is that we think its latest offering might have a bit of panache to garner some attention from consumers. And, if you subscribe to what our user @MattDarringer says, he's telling us there's been pretty strong interest at the retail location he operates/works at/whatever.

We're pretty sure their all-new marketing campaign featuring Oscar winning Matthew McConaughey won't hurt it, either. BUT, we're a wee bit curious to see what YOU all think. After all, we believe you're the industry's tastemakers.

So, is the use of this Hollywood A-lister a HIT or MISS? What say you, Spies?

We’re introducing the first-ever Lincoln MKC with Matthew McConaughey. Sometimes you've got to go back, to actually move forward. Visit http://www.Lincoln.com/MKC to learn more. #InTheMoment

So he sounds stoned out of his mind and rambles incoherently and that is supposed to sell the MKC? When he talks about being a life-long Lincoln driver, I rolled my eyes. He was exactly whom NOT to hire. The MKC should directly address that it has its sights on the Germans rather than some washed up Hollywood idiot showing that he needs to go to rehab YET AGAIN!

i'm sensing a lot of hate in that comment...sheesh...

it's basically a simple advert with a guy that can be recognized by a huge demographic range. He'd been in some descent (or at least memorable) movies since maybe the early 90s. he also a family-man now that he's been around for a while.

I kinda like the ad where he's just cruising at night & thinking about stuff. It's a laid-back setting that gives some good glimpses at the MKC. I like that the MKC exterior isn't over-the-top "blingy" or old-school retro - the proportions are just right for that kind of upscale/luxury vehicle.

i actually really like this car and think it can do well, but dont see how mathew enhances the brand image or would make anyone want this because of the nonsense hes saying in the commercial. turning away from a challenge ?? once again lincoln turns away when faced against a bull ( which is basically the germans/ cadillac )
