Very very exciting! I keep reading how MINI buyers keep complaining how the MINI Hardtops have grown and now they will come back to the tiny car with a fresh approach I hope. GO MINI!

I want to see them make the supeleggera with rwd and optional drive trains from pure electric, hybrid to full bore combustion hot rod. The city car concept looks interesting though, good ideas on the doors and roof, although that door design would tale some engineering to be light strong and operate in a normal enough way that buyers are not put off.

Certainly the iQ and Smart have done very little in the US. Both are very tall compared to their length and that would be a struggle to keep the Mini proportions if they go that short.

Many have put good looking glass tops on show cars but few have made it into production. Certainly will cook those of us in Arizona.

its only slightly larger glass than the existing optional moonroof, and believe me it will be optional, so don't worry

I've had 2 Mini Cooper S's (loved them) and even I think this is a stupid idea.

That second to last photo though is pretty cool with the original and still tinier Mini.
