SPIED: FIRST Photo Of The Updated Mercedes-Benz M-Class' — NOW GLE-Class — INTERIOR, Can YOU Spot The Changes?
The Mercedes-Benz M-Class has been somewhat of a big deal since it originally launched back in the 1990s. I remember its first appearance in the film Jurassic Park. Well, now it turns out the M-Class technically won't exist anymore.

It will be produced; however, its name will be changed to the GLE-Class. Supposedly this will keep things in line better.

Hey, it worked for Infiniti, right? Anyway...

While we've been keeping track of it as it continues to go through its developmental testing, for the first time we're seeing the updated GLE with its interior NOT cloaked. If you look closely you'll spot a number of changes that are going to differentiate this interior from the previous iteration.

Let's see if YOU can spot them...

The issue on this car is price. A fully loaded one with leather (always an option on MB, except for V8 models) is probably going to be close to $60K when a Grand Cherokee similarly equipped can be had for probably $45K. $45K is closer to a GLK which also would not be loaded. That would be over $50K... Is the star worth the extra $$...?

Good question.

We've addressed it several times in the past and if you were to ask 001 and myself the answer would be a firm "no."

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a great product and, frankly, we dig its Uconnect system way more than the COMAND setup. Just us though.

Actually to get a leather that is the same grade as the Jeep you have to spend an extra $4K over the basic "rubber" M class interior. The $1600 Mercedes leather upgrade uses rough leather that Jeep would reject. Want great music? Mercedes optional Harmon Kordan system has 13 speakers Jeep Summit has 19. It goes on and on.
