LEAKED! FIRST Photo Of The Newly Revamped Honda CR-V Shows ALL!
Well, that didn't take too long.

As you may have seen in recent months, I've been keeping an eye on spy photos of the newly revamped Honda CR-V. Although the vehicle has never particularly been my cup of tea, it does sell in droves. People dig this compact sport-utility vehicle!

So when the spy shots started showing a newly refreshed face, I was intrigued. I am sure there are a lot of folks out there not digging the freshened up design, I actually kind of like it. Seems more aggressive and less "safe."

Just me, though.

That said, for the FULL image, scroll down below!

Anyone care to guess where this car will make its big debut? Paris Motor Show in October? Los Angeles Auto Show in November? Place your bets!

Rats! The crummy Acura design has infected and corrupted the Honda line of cars! Less sales will result for sure.

Honda simple thinks it knows better. They have less than kind reviews of their styling--the only exception being the Accord--and they keep on at it. The CRV looks like a Crosstour now from the front and that most decidedly is a bad thing.

Honda will continue propping up sales with massive dealer incentives behind the scenes.

Apparently they do know better since the CR-V continues to the best-selling SUV on the market. And incentives are being offered everywhere. The Ford Escape is being offered for lease at $159/month or a finance at 0% for 72 months or 0% for 60 months PLUS $2500 cash back or $3500 bonus cash, while the CR-V is offering a lease at $209/month or financing at .9% for 60 months.

Agreed, fourtyfour. Didn't think it was that high, though. Thought it was around 20%, but it's still a significant number.

Most reviews of the new design have been positive, except for the usual suspects on Autohaters...surprise, surprise...

Massive dealer incentives? You're confusing Honda for the domestics or other car companies that do fleet sales...Honda incentives were high after the current Civic intro blunder, but not out of whack with the competition and currently they are lower than some of the competition...

Looks like a nice update given for what it is.

A really well built, efficient, ugly little car. C Pillar is hideous... Matt's right the Accord is the only thing in their line up that looks good. So reliable though... and yes, the best seller... styling is hideous...

Previous gen CR-V 2007-2011? was better looking.

That is saying a lot and I agree. My 2008 EX-L did everything right except the looks. Honda seems to have just added lipstick (chrome trim) on the pig.

The Mazda CX-5 is rather attractive and the Nissan Rogue is unrecognizable from the first gen. It is a heavily competitive space and there is a very little space for mistakes.
