Audi rules out faster TT
To leave enough room in the line-up for the muscular R8, exclusively revealed in this week's mag, Auto Express can also reveal that the TT S line is as hot as the new coupé is likely to get - because bosses have no plans for a high-performance version.

The S line upgrades are purely cosmetic. They include handsome alloys inspired by the rims on the RS4, while revised bumpers with a carbon fibre chin spoiler and rear valance also appear. Prices have yet to be announced.

So no TT-RS for now at least with a Lambo engine.

I have always known there would be no TT RS or such, the best you would get would be the TT S, Reason is that the TT is too small a vehicle to fit such a large engine to and the chasis will not be able to fully cope with all that power.

300-350 Hp is the max this chasis can handle properly and a max displacemant of about 3.6L.

POWER IS NOTHING WITHOUT CONTROL

Seems like the market for a car like this is pretty limited, what with Porsche around. After the 300 Audi die-hards buy theirs.

It is said that the Gallardo will get 600 hp, that means the R8 will have more performance room, maybe the TT RS will come out in the end.

I just read the TT is sold out in England until March 2007.
