PARIS MOTOR SHOW: Audi Unwraps 2015 TT and TT S Roadster Ahead Of Schedule

Audi has officially pulled the wraps off the 2015 TT and TT S Roadster ahead of the vehicles’ official debut which will take place next week, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show.

The 2015 Audi TT Roadster is following the same footsteps as the Coupe and it is adopting a sportier exterior design, along with a fabric roof, which is power folding, finished in either titanium gray, jive or black. Audi says that the roof can be opened and closed in 10 seconds, at speeds up to 50 km/h (31 mph), and thanks to the use of aluminum and magnesium, 3 kg have been saved here, compared to its predecessor.

Hmmm...the interior is decent but there's something about the exterior that leaves me disappointed. I feel like coupes and roasters should be the most dramatic expressions of automotive design, yet this one looks too practical to the point of dull like it's sedan stable mates...

Gotta agree with Car4Life. The front end looks like something you'd expect from Mitsubishi. It says "economy car" to me.

I think the design works better as a convertible. There isn't the contradiction of sloping roofline against angular front-end and back-end treatments. Still not really anything particularly special, but as a TT, it works better.
