Officials Say Racer Kevin Ward Was High On Pot At Time Of Deadly Incident With Tony Stewart
Officials say Kevin Ward Jr. was high on marijuana at the time of his death.

Officials say the "enhanced" video did not show Tony made any sudden or suspicious moves on the track before the collision with Ward Jr.

Investigators say they called in multiple accident reconstructionists -- who evaluated the speed of Tony's car, reaction times, distance and other relevant factors.

Clearly the correct decision was made by the Grand Jury. A tragedy non the less. Perhaps the Sprint car organization as well as all racing organizations should require drug tests like they do in Baseball etc.
What the hell is a guy high on pot have any business racing in the first place. Obviously walking out on the track should prove that his judgment was impaired.

So let's trash a dead man. Niiiiice. Even if Kevin Ward was high on Walter White's meth, Tony Stewart still exhibited road rage.

The evidence shows Ward was the one displaying road rage. Next time apply logic instead of projecting.

@Sciros clearly you are a Tony Stewart apologist.

Wow Matt-Why didn't you tell us you were a "forensic investigator". By looking at one video you have determined that Stewart had "road rage".
Fascinating! The grand jury went through all the available tapes, spoke to many witnesses and came up with the opposite conclusion. Further they say that Ward had enough pot in his system to impair his judgment. So another words it's OK to be as high as kite, and walk out onto the middle of a race track in the dark of night and not bare any responsibility to what happened to him what's so ever. So because he was hit by Tony Stewart and Tony Stewart is famous then Tony Stewart must be guilty because of his fame. Of course your reasoning is completely logical! Speechless.

So driving under influence is not okay for us regular folks but okay for race car drivers. They should look into drug tests before each race to prevent future tragedies.

Road rage or not there is no evidence and without proof, ones motive is anyone's guess.
