Chrysler Recalls Almost 350,000 Vehicles For GM Like Ignition Issues

Chrysler is recalling 349,442 older vehicles because of problems with their ignition switch.

The recall affects some 2008 Dodge Chargers, Dodge Magnum wagons, Chrysler 300s, Jeep Commanders and Jeep Grand Cherokees.

The ignition switch in those vehicles can slip out of the "run" position causing the windshield wipers and defroster to deactivate. The ignition also can slip to the "off" position, causing a loss of power to the engine.

While the problem is similar to the defect that led General Motors to recall 2.6 million small cars from 2003 through 2007 model years, Chrysler said it only knows of one accident linked to the ignitions.

Chrysler recalling just now? Shouldn't they be recalling "every single" junk that they made?

Like I said before, Detroit bankrupted because everyone knows it is a failed city, so is California (Oh yes, a bankrupt state). You really can't expect a lot from cars that come out of this country.

Without New York City, this country is pretty much on the same level as other South American countries in terms of everything.

And obviously nowhere near as good as the European nations.

You do realize that it's the GDP of California that drives the nation and the tax base?

California's GDP towers above Texas, New York and Florida, all of it's closest competitors in the US. If California was a county, it would have the 7th highest GDP in the entire world. I'm sure you won't be able to wrap your brain around this, but give it a try.

I have no love for the Democratic party - - - but the Jihadist right wing nut jobs bother me more.

Ohh, the GDP of California. Let's see,

http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/355023/detroits-bankrupt-california-next-ian-tuttle

"the state of California as a whole is nearing that road’s dead end. The Manhattan Institute’s new book, The Beholden State: Reclaiming California’s Lost Promise, highlights the problems that have led to California’s decline and proposes various solutions that can make the Beholden State the Golden State once more."

I wouldn't say California is "useless", but unfortunately, there already are Californian cities that declared bankruptcy, and California as a whole has way too many problems themselves.

And I'm sorry, kid. I am not even a ring wing, nor am I even a jihadist. If anything, then I am a New York"ist", as the U.S. is practically a third world country without a thing called "class" compared to the wealthy European nations, only if there was no New York City at all.

By the way, weren't you the kid who was madly supporting Obama so much before? Tsk Tsk Tsk

My neighbor lived in both CA and Detroit and she said both these States are run on left-wing ideology's. Now they're broke.
Better perhaps to allow market forces do its thing without all the Govt interference and handouts.

Fully agree.

The reason why NYC still remains to be the top class city in all of the Americas is because of such strong competition among people.

f#&$@ing idiot, what's this have to do with the article? Crawl back under you manhole cover, in your doom's day prep shelter and turn down the Limbaugh.

Oh look, a lazy (But angry) liberal nut without much of skills nor income.

And I don't listen to Rush Limbaugh, as I don't even like him. You, on the other hand, must love Democrats so much, you don't even know why competition is even "good".

And sadly, the way you talk pretty much shows that you are not even old enough to drive, most likely.
