Fred Khaz strikes again!

Well, not exactly. A business associate of his did.

Special thanks to Bart for these great photos!

Our new friend Bart was traveling around in SoCal when he stumbled upon this peculiar test vehicle. You may recognize it from a previous life. It's the Lexus HS250h.

So, why is it wrapped in full camouflage NOW? I can only think of two reasons:

1) It is still in production and sold in the overseas markets. Perhaps the company is working on an all-new generation using this as a mule, OR;

2) It's a mule that's running the chassis of an all-new product yet to be determined.

Aside from my theories, why do YOU think this HS250h is running around SoCal?

It's in their blood so deep they can't stop doing it.

Renaming every Toyota model with a Lexus badge and shoving it in American showrooms. Very soon there will be Toyota Yaris's Lexus version.

Lexus said the HS wasn't a Prius, but it was so evident to EVERYONE that the contrary was true. Japanese Mercury.

I forgot to mention, there might be a Lexus version of Scion XB car soon too.

Just kidding

What's wrong with sharing platforms? All automakers do it. That Lincoln little ute is a $45k Ford Escape.
