RENDERED SPECULATION: Is The All-New Lamborghini Asterion Going To Be The MOST WANTED Bull If It Looks Like THIS?
You hear that? No?

It's the sound of a ticking clock as we inch closer and closer to the 2014 Paris Motor Show. Although I had been thinking it'd be relatively quiet this year, if you've been keeping track of our coverage over the past two weeks you'd know that there's going to be a helluva lot to see at this year's show. Just about every day there's a new breaking news item of an all-new product coming to market and debuting in the city of lights.

Sounds good to us!

One vehicle that's been teased and has everyone scratching their chin in bewilderment is the all-new Lamborghini. As of a couple weeks ago, the Italian marque trademarked the name Asterion, which has people speculating that a hybrid or full-on electric is on the way.

What we know for sure is that this vehicle will not be the classic wedge as seen with the all-new Huracan and Aventador. No, this design will be more of a 70's inspired, fastback coupe — from what little we can tell. It turns out we're not alone as an artist rendered what they believe will be debuted in Paris.

That said, take a look at the artist's work below and let us know if you think THIS is accurate. IF the Asterion is the concept car making its debut, would YOU prefer it over the other two currently existing models?

Even the name is horrible.

A pretty cool rendering there. But it reminds more of a retro style like the Miura concept and Lamborghini said it's not into retro.

I know it's the current trend, but those wheels are too big and look ghetto.

There are captured pictures floating around that suggest it's a Lamborghini Cayman and would be their entry-level product.

It seems that Lamborghini is building a GT car to compete with cars like Ferrari F12, Aston Martin Vanquish +/- Bentley Continental GT. The idea of an entry level Lambo sounds really good, but I don't think its true. However, we shall know soon.
