PARIS MOTOR SHOW: Sexy Yes, But Has Lamborhgini Sacrificed Agression For Generic With the New Asterion?
You can say what you want about Lamborghini styling but most will agree it can be polarizing. Never one to be shy with artistic flair, the Italian automaker has been more about passionate aggression than the subtleties of a Maserati or Ferrari. However since their acquisition by Audi quite a few years ago the tone has changed from outrageous, to a more refined look. Starting with the Gallardo to now the Asterion we are now are seeing a maturing with each generation.
Now the question. Is this making the brand a bit too generic, was Lamborghini’s ace in the hole the outrageousness of style? Before, there was no mistaking you were looking at a Lambo, now we aren’t quite so sure.
Your thoughts?

Frankly, I liked the Miura concept from a few years ago much, much better.

I think this concept has some attitude. It's a departure from current production models & conveys a bit of "street muscle" that most other Lambos can't really pull-off.
It would be interesting to see it in production & to see how some German & US aftermarket pros can handle it.
