PARIS MOTOR SHOW: Did The Lexus NX Just Get Upstaged By A Fashion Designer's Dress?
So I have to admit the new Lexus NX is sort of growing on me.  Yes my lack of affinity for the brand may have clouded my judgment not so long ago but I have to say they are moving in the right direction in many areas. The NX is one of those positive moves that should have been done about 5 years ago, but I am glad to see it finally arrive.

Paris is the perfect venue for this type of crossover, but I have to wonder what is up with the show girl’s outfit.  It is kind of a cross between Katie Perry and the Jetson’s.  To me it actually takes away from the true object of desire the which is the NX. But I also have to remember that Paris is the fashion capital of the world.

Did Lexus hit it head on with such an avant guard fashion statement next to a conservative NX, or were they upstaged by a fashion designer?

A style languages go, this car's makes about as much sense as that dress. Have people run out of useful ideas?

agreed. but we all know...if Lexus/Toyota builds it - they (consumers) will come. Lexus had been hard-pressed to offer anything similar to their most popular RX. Offering the NX is probably a way to pull attention from all the other comparably-sized competition popping up in the next 1-2 years.

The NX will be a success regardless of any negative reviews. Typical Lexus consumers will expect the NX to be just as delightful as the RX to own & operate. Just you wait.

Tasteless behavior runs in the Toyota blood.

Ugly car + ugly bitch in an ugly dress = nothing new @ Toyota headquarters except the same useless shit.
