Sub 3 Second 0-60 Makes the 2015 Corvette Z06 Becomes The Fastest Chevrolet Ever!

General Motors is claiming supercar-like performance for its new 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, including the ability to blaze from zero to 60 miles per hour in less than three seconds.

Indeed, that puts Z06 in the league of some far more expensive, exotic supercars.

"The Corvette has long been known as America's sports car," said Mark Reuss, a GM executive vice president, in a statement. "With the capability of the new Z06 rivaling the best performance cars in the world, we will also be America's Supercar."

I guess no ZR1? No need after this type of performance.

Well, that's why there's all these rumors of a (rear) mid-engined "Zora" that would cost 150k and be a hybrid with awd and 850hp and a real dct and run on pure, liquefied rage. I'll believe it when I hear it from Tadge Juechter and not before.

No dealership on the planet is going to let this car go for anything less than a $100K. This car is just insane... yeah..GT-R will do the same...but with all wheel drive and more stability...this vette is going to be one hell of a carnival ride.

I expect this car will drive quite stable for what it is. With all the nannies off you'll need to know what you're doing but that's true for any such car.

And plenty of big Vette dealerships will let it go for MSRP or, if applicable to you, supplier or credit union pricing.

i think this car changes the landscape for sports cars. its a steal considering what it does and at 80-90k its unreal and looks quite exotic.. id definitely want one.
costs less than a gtr and prob cheaper to maintain !

This just made the quarter mile specialist, the Hellcat, obsolete already! And you end with a car that is equally good at going around corners - - - not just a one trick pony like the Hellcat.
