Aston Martin’s Future Defined

Aston Martin may be on the block as parent company Ford searches for ways to raise capital, but that hasn’t slowed the British sports car maker’s push for more product.

Earlier this year movie studio and automaker publicity machines revealed a new model, dubbed the Aston Martin DBS (“Martin, Aston Martin,” Jan. 30). Originally planned as a one-off model for use in the upcoming James Bond action film Casino Royale, DBS is now shaping up as a special addition to the Aston lineup as DBRS9.
