First The Mustang Now The F-150 Ecoboost Found To Have Fake Exhaust Sound Pumped Into Interior
First it was the Mustang EcoBoost, and now Ford's manliest truck.

Engine downsizing isn’t necessarily a bad thing. With the technology now there to better manage turbo lag, it’s hard to complain about the loss of thirsty V8s in most, but not all cars. Full size trucks and muscle cars, like the Ford F-150 and Mustang, have long been known for their V8 power. And now Ford is doing its best to convince mainstream buyers otherwise. Sales of the previous F-150 EcoBoost were through the roof, and Ford is out to do the same with the truck’s successor as well as the new Mustang EcoBoost.

We don't get any truth from our feckless dishonorable president so now we shouldn't be surprised if our vehicle produces fraudulent sounds.

The Lexus LFA beat them all to it, however the sound from the LFA's dedicated speaker is really sound generated from the engine..

The Ford , BMW and VW system are fake as it is pre-recorded. What happens if there is something wrong with the engine, and the speaker is still playing the pre-recorded sound ??

I like the sound of the current gen ecoboost. Turbo whine is great when getting on and off the throttle. When cruising, it's extremely quiet. Would guess many owners would be glad turn a feature like this off.
