Lamborghini Has Over 3,000 Huracan Orders In Just A Few Months

The recently unveiled Lamborghini Huracan has managed to received no less than 3,000 orders globally, in just a few months.

After it has been officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, earlier this year, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, back in March, the Lamborghini Huracan is now more popular than ever with the “raging bull” managing to receive no less than 3,000 orders worldwide. According to the Italian based automaker, out of the 3,000 units ordered so far, 1,000 of them are in the United States. This is also a new record for the company, which managed to sell just 2,121 cars in 2013 and held a record from 2008 when it sold 2,406 cars.

Lambo moves 3000 Huracans in a few months.
Lexus builds 500 LFA models in two years (2010-2012) and there are still new ones in the showroom.

What does that tell you about demographics?

It tells me that the Huracan isn't going to be a collector's car.

Not really sure the LFA will be a collector's car either, just check AUTOTRADER. Plenty being sold and available at under MSRP, not sure that make a good collector's item. I guess I can call my daughter's Mini a collector's car too.

I don't understand the collector car concept. If I'm buying a Huracan or a LFA, I'd be driving it everyday!

Give it time, I remember when 2000GT where cheap. Small number increase long term value and the LF-A was a unique.

The Huracan is pretty awesome and is almost "understated" for a Lamborghini.
