More lexus bashing. Many said the same about Audi when they changed the grill, BWM 3 series and even apple macs, look what happened went strength to to strength.

I know Lexus is trying to go for the youth market, but thirteen year old boys don't buy cars. Man this car is over styled.

i don't see this poster hangining in a lot of 13 year old rooms. Even they know better.
Then again, 13 year olds today probably hang posters of iPhones

The JDM fans will applaud the Godzilla styling. Suddenly the Germans look like they were designed for people in rest homes.

I think once you all get used to it a bit more and see it on the road you will reverse course.
The only design element I dislike are the Testarossa like details behind the rear wheels. That's gotta go!

The front/side is way over styled - way too many lines that don't go anywhere...

I'm not sure which is worse. Infiniti developing their front fascia to mimic animals or Lexus designing their front fascia to mimic a vacuum cleaner.

Bulls eye.. this thing is painful to look at. From a silhouette perspective its sharp, but every where you look there is waaayyyy too much going on. This will not age well either. The grill has what 5 different design patterns... this thing should have been called "Medusa"... hideous!

The styling I could live with. It strikes a much more dynamic visual than any other car in its class. The element that bothers me most is the rear taillight design. They look like they're ready to stab someone.
At the same time it almost seems like the styling is trying to compensate for its relatively poor performance compared to its direct competitors. A predicted 0-60 time of 5.8 secs for the RC350 (and I assume the same for the F-Sport version) can't match even the 428i and is slightly better than the A5, but far behind the 435i and S5 (granted the F-Sport would undercut both by 4k and 6k).
Performance-wise, again, the RC-F lags far behind the M4 and RS5 (but undercuts the RS5 price by almost 8k).

i guess im in the minority when i say i actually LIKE the car and think its good vs the competition.
definitely nicer than the ats, a5, g37 coupe . im not saying its better with performance, but its a nice and flashy design for those who want to stand out more. i cant say id get the base rc350, but definitely the RC-F if there was a crazy lease deal..

As you can see, this place is filled with Europe worshippers who would practically bash anything Japanese.
It is called ego. Also known as elitism.

If it is Japanese or American
"ZOMG SO UGLY AND SO OVERPRICED, SO GARBAGE!! I WORSHIP EUROPE, EUROPEAN ELITISM FTW"
If it is German/European
"Europe, is the salvation, it is, the ultimate embodiment of god. May Europe deliver us from being poor."

This is a nice car for the money and wait after a year, when LEXUS starts giving deals on it. I think it could easily surpass 4 series sales.
