LOS ANGELES AUTO SHOW: What's YOUR FIRST Impression Of The All-New Honda HR-V? EXCITING? SNOOZEFEST?
For years we've been waiting for Honda to deliver something for the US market that was exciting and interesting. Something that at first glance would make you say "Yeah, I want one of those in my driveway."

That's not the feeling I got when I first saw the Accord Crosstour. And the CR-Z I was wavering on.

The all-new HR-V though has my attention. Of course, that doesn't matter as much as YOUR impression. So, what say YOU, Spies?

Is the soon-to-debut Honda HR-V getting you EXCITED or do YOU think it's a SNOOZEFEST?

**Stay tuned for MORE information, leaks and teases for the upcoming 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show!

Honda's press release follows:

Honda HR-V Crossover to Make North American Debut at 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show

10/20/2014 - TORRANCE, Calif.

- All-new stylish entry crossover to offer surprising levels of sophistication and versatility inside and out
- HR-V will serve as the entry point to Honda light truck lineup

The all-new Honda HR-V entry crossover (automobiles.honda.com/hr-v) will make its North American debut at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show on Nov. 19. Previously seen only in pictures, the HR-V will serve as the entry point to the Honda light truck lineup, positioned below the CR-V in both price and size and competing in an all-new segment for the brand.

With sleek styling and expressive character lines, the HR-V is anticipated to launch this winter. Built on the same global compact platform that underpins the critically-acclaimed Fit, the HR-V will feature a versatile and spacious interior thanks to an innovative center fuel tank layout. The HR-V will be equipped with the Honda-exclusive Magic Seat®, which allows for multiple seating configurations and the ability to fold the second row seat completely flat for added cargo space.

Further details about the Honda HR-V will be revealed on Nov. 19 at 12:35 p.m. PST at the Los Angeles Auto Show. For the latest HR-V editorial photography, please visit hondanews.com/channels/honda-automobiles-hr-v.

Meh....their XR-V concept looks tons better. The XR-V should be a trim upgrade for the HR-V in the US.

It's not meant to be exciting...so, no. And no...do not make it a manual...everyone knows u cannot sell manuals here in the US...as soon as u drive an auto transmission vehicle off the lot, you can hear the depreciation falling.

With the cargo versatility of the Fit, but more space and increased ride height, this should be a huge hit. Exciting? Maybe not.
