VIDEO: Jim Carrey Takes A Crack At Matthew McConaughey's Lincoln Ad On Saturday Night Live
The advertising business is an interesting one, that's for sure. Although some people say as long as a spot gets noticed, it's job has been done, I am not sure that's entirely the case.

I will note that I have absolutely ZERO knowledge or credibility when it comes to advertising, but I have watched every aired of Mad Men until this point. So, I will check any informed thoughts at the door.

This is good because rather than evaluate if Matthew McConaughey's was effective, we have something better to talk about. Sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live, used Jim Carrey to poke fun of the the advertisement that's gained the attention of Conan O'Brien and Ellen DeGeneres.

Come to think of it, I don't think Lincoln has been this relevant in years. Perhaps this was the entire point after all.

That said, check out Carrey doing what he does best in the clip below!

Thought the SNL take was funny, but Ellen did the best parody of all. Absolutely hilarious. I don't think it can hurt the Lincoln brand much. In fact, it can only do it some good give how low Lincoln has sunk.

The scary thing is that the Matthew Muhkonuhhay ads have gotten Lincoln a LOT of publicity in parody. This may be sheer genius on Lincoln's ad agency's part.

Agreed!

MM earned his pay day and Lincoln is loving all the attention.

Good for them! Hopefully people discover the MKC and dig it.

had a MKC rental in North Dakota on a business trip a few weeks back... It was a pretty nice vehicle. Doesn't fit my needs but I think people should at least look at them if they are in the market for a nice crossover.
