Toyota To Recall 6,000 Camry And Avalon Models For Catastrophic Supension Failure
Toyota has announced an intended recall for 2014 models of Camry and Avalon over a "steering issue" in the driver side, front suspension lower arm, that could, if it broke away while driving, cause a catastrophic loss of steering control. The announcement came on Tuesday and the number of cars affected in the US is under 6,000. But, as can be seen by other recent recalls, that total number could significantly change in the roll up to December, when Toyota plans to formally notify owners who have the suspect defect in their automobiles
