TRUCK WARS! WHO Is Going To SUFFER MORE From The All-New Ford F-150? GM or RAM?
As I've stated numerous times here on AutoSpies, I am not a truck expert. I leave that to Agent 001. But, if there's one thing that EVERYONE is waiting for, it's the all-new 2015 Ford F-150.

Between the all-new aluminum construction and EcoBoost motor, we're expecting BIG things from it. From what we've heard, so are the dealers. And guess what, we're not the only ones eagerly awaiting to see how successful the F-150 will be.

Wall Street is placing its bets right now.

Now here's the good question: WHO is going to be MORE impacted by this vehicle's launch? The General Motors portfolio of pick-up trucks OR the latest from RAM, which has been creeping up on the sales charts?

We want to hear it from YOU! Speak up in the comments, below!

I get that they have to be big and exaggerated and macho. But why do they always have to be so fu*king hideous?

Nobody is going to suffer. Pickup truck drivers are usually loyal to their brands. There will be a few conquests but by and large the Ford guys will upgrade to a newer truck, the Chevy guys will get big discounts and the Ram guys will get a Hemi.

I think GM is very worried. If Ford is able to keep the prices reasonable and maintain the buz, next year could be a record year for the F150. GM will still sell lots of trucks, but this would force GM to ramp up incentives to stay relevant, at the expense of their bottom line. Ram will be fine, they now have the oldest truck, so they will continue to be aggressive on price.

when the public sees the new much higher price of the 2015 F150, many buyers will look elsewhere for their truck.

The price creep is minimal.

The problem with the GM trucks is that when they were introduced as being "all new" they were really just a mild makeover. The GM trucks bring nothing special to the table.

That said, I predict the F150 will remain king and the other will remain where they are.

@fourtyfour Problem 4 you're utterly clueless as to how white hot the interest and the pre-orders are on it. This is money in my pocket.

What gas falling to 4 year lows and still cratering, any mpg advantage of the super expensive F150 becomes moot. Buyers will be turned off for the new stiff high price of the F150. The country is still suffering in the obama recession.

What are all you naysayers smoking? The F series has been the best selling truck for 27 years. This ain't going to do nuthin but continue the dominance.

I know how truck are abused in work conditions. I cannot believe that the aluminum bed floors, walls and the tailgate will be anywhere near as durable and dent resistant as comparable steel sheet metal.

I predict there are going to be many disappointment aluminum truck owners in short order.

GM will suffer as many customers of theirs will go with the smaller trucks or, like most people, wait until the model year clearance.

Ram trucks have always drawn a different buyer than the GM or Ford.
