Cadillac Secures NYC Office Space For Global Headquarters

General Motors Co.’s Cadillac brand has leased more than 34,000 square feet in the Hudson Square neighborhood of New York City to serve as global headquarters for the luxury brand, owners of the building said Thursday.

The space is at 330 Hudson, a 16-story, 467,000-square-foot building, according to Beacon Capital Partners LLC and partners Ivanhoé Cambridge and Callahan Capital Properties. Cadillac is leasing the top two floors of the building, which are wrapped in glass and have 14-foot ceilings.

Cadillac spokesman David Caldwell confirmed the location. He said the space is currently empty and Cadillac plans to begin using the offices in the spring

once they move into those offices, once they settle, everything will slowly get smoother and their products will sell better (sarcasm)

I wrote before on this dumb move, it won't help. The product is a loser. Best example is the new Escalade. Still old-fashiones body-on-frame Silverado truck based but priced mid 70K. And they think American public is dumb.

If it wasn't for the limo companies most Escalades won't sell and that goes for the Navigator too.

The fact that he was at Infiniti so briefly means most likely that Nissan saw him creating and crapstorm and told him to find a job or be fired.

NYC high rise office rents?
Guess GM will have to increase the price of their Chevrolet based Cadillacs to cover the outrageous rent expense.
