Toyota Prepares To Lose $100,000 On Every Fuel Cell Vehicle Sold
Toyota’s upcoming release of its first production fuel cell vehicle is certainly something of a gamble — as you no doubt already know — but could the company actually end up losing as much as $100,000 on every unit sold?

Possibly. Or at least that’s what one analyst is arguing. The former European Parliament President Pat Cox has argued that when the cost of building out hydrogen fuel infrastructure is factored in, that the potential costs for Toyota are set to be quite high.

Nah. Toyota won't lose that money. They simply won't build out the fuel infrastructure, and leave that to someone else. So sad for the person who buys a hydrogen fueled vehicle only to discover very limited fuel stations (a few in some cities) means that as long as you don't travel farther than a (rare) hydrogen station, you're okay.

I'm always baffle on why they can't design these 'niche' cars to look normal with some added 'niche' flare. If, design wise, Tesla can design a nice looking electric vehicle, why can't other big budget manufacturer do it. SMH. And no, for 57k and it looks like what could of been a Prius.
