SPIED: The Spy Shots You've Been Waiting For — Even MORE Camo Comes Off The Next-Gen Audi Q7
I would argue that one of the biggest news stories in 2014 has been the development of the all-new Audi Q7. We've seen and heard about development mules being scraped due to senior leaderships' decisions, and this month we've finally started to see the real deal emerge from its shell.

This has been exciting for us and clearly we're not alone as we've noted the amount of clicks the stories have been generating. Consumer interest is probably at an all-time high.

Considering the current-gen Q7 has been out for eons, this isn't a HUGE surprise. What may be unexpected though is the all-new Q's design that's quite simple. We thought this was supposed to be EDGY.

In the latest batch of spy shots to find their way into the public domain, it doesn't appear the next-gen Q7 will be a groundbreaking design; however, it may be a utilitarian's dream.

"One of the biggest new stories of 2014"? Really?

Anyway, 00R, you want a "snoozefest" and "uninspired" design, then look no further than this new Q7. I honestly feel like Audi took a step or two backwards with this one. Obviously, we'll have to wait for the finished product, but the design cues are pretty clear here. I'm sure the headlights will be nice and dazzling, though :-/

The fact that the basic architecture of the Touareg, Cayenne, and Q7 date back to 2002 and the changes in 2010 were modest at best, this "all new" vehicle is "all old" and has the styling to prove it. Audi needs to hire dy Nysschen back.

This and the current Q7 won't be related. Probably as little on these two as any new vehicle debuting now.

I'm confused, according to Germannut, Audi has been investing billions of dollars on "new design language" ?????
