SPIED: Do YOU Notice ANYTHING Different About The Porsche 911 Targa That's Been Facelifted?
It's never a good moment when a company launches a product and then shortly thereafter gives it a refresh. No one wins, if we're honest.

It seems that the all-new 911 (991) Targa will be the victim of this.

The only reason we know this is that a Targa model was spotted undergoing testing and if you look closely you may notice the light camouflage and slightly different parts.

Take, for example, that centrally mounted exhaust and rear clip. What's up with that? Could it be a Targa GTS or would that be excruciatingly niche? Wouldn't be the first time Porsche took a dive into the rabbit hole.

That said, can you make out any other differences we're not spotting?

Mirrors, vents behind rear wheels, front lip and air intakes as well as bumpers, front and back, LED front turn signal lights... that's all I can see at a glance. It's all subtle of course but it's there.

Indeed, that looks like a Targa 4 GTS, something rather specialized. I think I know one or two people who might get excited over that, not more.

A .2 Targa is probably going to launch as a MY16. Might be enough for a few fans to upgrade. I know a few folks who like to do 2 year leases and move on. Perhaps that's part of the target behavior they market to.
