IF YOU Just Won $90 MILLION Cash, Would Your All-New Car Purchase Be A SUBARU? What Would YOU Get?
If there's one thing you have to love about car brands like Honda and Subaru, it's their incredibly loyal and loving fanbase. Once people get a taste, it's hard for them to shift brands. I say good on Honda and Subaru for getting it right and delivering vehicles that fit a demographic.

This loyalty is evident for Subaru this week as a Seattle-based woman that just hit the Powerball lottery sweepstakes has decided her all-new automotive purchase will be a Subaru Forester. This is great to hear and to me signals two things:

1) She's not likely to blow the funds on nonsensical things and be back to reality; and,
2) She's a nice, humble person.

Now as an enthusiast I sit and talk about cars with buds all day long. Of course every now and then the subject matter of a dream garage or hitting the lottery comes up and we shoot our answers back and forth for debate.

That said, if YOU hit the Powerball, what would YOUR all-new vehicle purchase(s) be? A Subaru? Something else? Let us know.

The TVRs are in varying degrees of unobtainable. Any one of them would be great additions to the TVRs I have in our stable: Griffith, 3000M, Tasmin, and 3 Sagarises (orange, blue, and black)...the latter are strictly track cars unfortunately that on occasion I take out with dealer plates.

I got to see the 350GTV at Pebble Beach...wow

A Jensen FF is rare as heck and the Interceptor with the Scat Pack engine is an impossibility at this point.

You are way off though but you are the king of grand assumptions here so I will choose to ignore that. I will also add... A highly educated person should be able to back up their choices when making a list like this. People have wants but they also have needs. Highly advanced people also have critical thinking abilities that reach beyond that of adolescent wants and desires. A person of your claimed intellect should be able to this without hiding behind insults and mindless rambling. I will help you with a list of my own. We have some similar choices.

1. 2015 expedition EL -I have a family of 4 and it would be a great road trip vehicle. Similar to your navi but don't see the point in the up charge for a Lincoln that is marginal in terms of luxury.
2. Z06 - what red blooded American with a fantasy list could leave it off?
3. 2014 - f150 supercrew longbed. I have property and need a truck regularly. Especially one that can carry people and handle mountain winter conditions.
4. 2015 Range Rover - wife loves them. Happy wife = happy life
5. Bmw active hybrid 5 series - I need a commuter for work and it seems to fit the image and $ requirement that goes with my low education level job.

So you see... Looking at life today... taking care of needs, a few wants, still have some wishes and list is subject to change. Don't have to be a defensive dbag. It's pretty easy. You should try it sometime. I didn't need a lee greenwood 'merica rant to do it either.

Living in CO, I see my fair share of Subi's. The following is almost cultish and for that, you have to applaud them. I do have to say though.. I've never seen one with more than 75k miles that wasn't a rattle box and the feel is very outdated. Reminds me of mid 90s Honda.

Actually, it doesn't. Just says something about where I own my primary residence and pay state income tax. Not from here. Just relocated for work. It does however boast more educated people than most of the country so your simple mind commentary is laughable.

At agent... I'm sure there are many that hold up. They wouldn't still be in business if they didn't. The harsh climates and road conditions here seem to take a toll on them more than in the milder climates I've called home. Is it maintenance or build quality??? I couldn't and wouldn't venture to say but it is just my experience in the 10 or so I've been around that friends have owned. Would be last on my list of used AWD to buy as a commuter here.

I would do my best to track down and then have fully restored every car I've owned, due to their sentimental value. That list would include a 1989 Mazda RX-7, a 1990 Honda Accord, 1994 Eagle Vision (I know), 96 Mercedes E320, 2000 VW Jetta, 2001 Acura RSX, 2007 VW GTI, 2008 BMW 328i, 2010 Maxima. Oh and I would mod my current 2012 3 series and throw in a Ferrari F12 and Rolls Wraith just cause I can.

Seriously high prices but the folks who I know that have bought from them have ZERO regrets.

I looked at an E46 M3 from them and made a fair offer for a cash purchase, turns out they don't negotiate from the listed price AT ALL. I understand these cars are "sorted" but I am not going to get raped on an E46 that in my opinion won't appreciate to earn back the outlay.

If I won the lottery- Maybe get the next BMW M2? Id like to take a nice chunk and make my own car; and maybe develop some new tech to at least make the money back.
