One of the Greatest Race Car Driver To Retire
After his win at Monza, Michael Schumacher announced his retirement. Schumacher holds almost all of Formula 1 records except for the number of starts. His win at Monza was the ninetieth of his career. With his win and Alonso's retirement from the race, Schumacher trails Alonso by only two points on his quest for an eighth championship. Schumacher will be replaced next year with Kimi Raikkonen.

Maybe he should think about a career in the DTM championships. Hakkinen is having fun there.

And I am hearing the rumours of Fernando moving either to Ferrari or Mclaren.
But i hope he moves to Ferrari, then imagine what a team Ferrari will be with Fernando and Kimi.

But yes they will never be able to take the place of Schumacher.
A really sad news about the Schumacher's retirement. He is undoubtly the best in F1 for the last decade.
I think he should stay for more time.Even because he is at the top of his game right now.
In full form.In full bloom.

I have been following Formula One since I was 5 years of age. I am now a 30 year old mechanical engineer. Within that time I have seen Prost, Mansell, Senna and Michael Schumacher. He is the greatest driver ever in the history of F1.There will not be another like him, he owns every major record in F1,current drivers will not come close to his astronomical achievements. The rumors of his impending retirement have been circulating since he surpassed Fangio's 5 drivers’ championships and Senna's pole record. As the saying goes the pupil will become better than the master, in Michael Schumacher’s case he will always be the MASTER. Michael Schumacher is simply the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be.

I think Michael Schumacher may contest the 24 hrs of Le Mans, since he is a part of the Ferrari FXX development program. His inclusion in the 24 hrs of Le Mans will only happen with a full factory organized Ferrari effort.

Certainly the dirtiest driver ever as well. I'll miss having him in the mix though.
